Applications
Epoxy and polyurethane primers prepare suitable substrates for subsequent flooring layers, while protective finishes form the exposed surface of the specified system. They are considered for industrial floors, storage areas, workshops and other surfaces covered by the product documentation. Preparation starts with assessing the substrate and removing loose material and contamination. A primer does not replace repairs to damaged concrete. Cracks, joints and transitions need their own treatment before the main coating is applied.
What we assess
Choose the primer and finishing coat together with the complete flooring system. Check the substrate type, moisture condition, existing layers and expected traffic, cleaning products and chemical exposure. Confirm compatibility between coats in the current technical data sheets, including preparation, mixing, application and recoating requirements. For an existing coating, identify its condition before proposing an overlay. Surface photographs, the intended use and information about previous treatments help define which additional checks the project needs.
