Selecting a system
Polyurethane systems can be used where the project requires particular flexibility, wear resistance or finishing properties. These characteristics vary by product. An indoor floor coating, an outdoor protective topcoat and a waterproofing membrane are different materials and are selected for their specific purpose.
Preparation and application
The substrate, expected mechanical and thermal loads, sunlight exposure and cleaning methods must be assessed before specification. We agree the primer, intermediate layers and finish as one compatible system. For outdoor surfaces, UV suitability must be confirmed in the manufacturer's documentation.
