Selecting a system
Groundwater, surface runoff and moisture in the ground affect below-ground structures in different ways. Before selecting a system, we consider which side can be treated, the condition of the concrete, joints and the presence of leaks. Suitable approaches may include cementitious, bituminous or polymer materials.
Preparation and application
Drainage, waterproofing protection and construction joints form part of the overall solution. An internal coating cannot automatically replace external waterproofing and drainage. We discuss the available access and the required preparation before recommending materials and a scope of work.
