Selecting a system
A roof waterproofing system must account for the roof build-up, falls, drainage and the condition of the existing covering. Depending on the project, materials may include polyurethane, bituminous or other compatible membranes. Resistance to sunlight, standing water and foot traffic must be checked for the selected product.
Preparation and application
Particular attention is needed at drains, corners, parapets, expansion joints and pipe penetrations. Applying material to the main surface alone does not address these details. We discuss surface preparation, reinforcement of junctions and any protective finish before agreeing the work.
